    • I update my run.bat Because of a wrong command. In addition, I have set up the timelimit to 3600 / seconds, so an hour.

@fotherly said in [**#|[HowTO]|#** CCminer POOL&ALGO SWITCH >>~|DownTime Protection|~< Can I make a suggestion to your .bat file setup in the guide please. You have the retries setting as 1.

Internet connection issues will cause the miner to only try to reconnect 1 time before switching the pool. Better to have it set to a higher number. At least then it will retry the connection say 20 times before switching to the next pool. At 20 retry's this will allow for 6 minutes of internet connection downtime before it switches to the next pool. If you think 20 is too high use a number that you think is best, I know my connection at home goes down occasionally for a few minutes at a time during the night.

Also as a side note, when making edits to guides it is a good idea to add a comment as to when the guide was updated and what part. You have changed the .bat file configuration since you made it. Using the original .bat you listed gave issues with regards to connections dropping. I wasted a few hours trying to identity the problem. It's ok now as you have added
    sleep 45
    GOTO start

But for people who are using your original .bat file and do not realise you have updated it need to know it has been updated and when.

Once again thankyou for your good work!

    Hey buddy

    • Internet connection issues will cause the miner to only try to reconnect 1 time before switching the pool

Yes, you are basically right. My interest lies in compensating for server down time on Yiimp.
I almost never have internet disconections. It is important to me to quickly connect to the alternative pool.
Therefor only on reconect and *--time-limit.*

Sorry bro but thats wrong .... -R 20

How do you format the code in the post? I am not able to find it in when i create a new post.

@thesudio said in [**#|[HowTO]|#** CCminer POOL&ALGO SWITCH >>~|DownTime Protection|~< Great work mate! Im mining on a single 1080ti card. 110% power limit, +25 core. Im very new to crypto, only got into it since upgrading my gaming PC. Now I barely game and just mine and read about crypto instead lol.

    Results:
Ive been mining for 2 days now, i first started on sgminer, netting around 18MH and thought thats not too good and ended up finding 2.2.3

Ive played with the intensity and the highest my 1080ti will go is 25.

2.2.3 was giving me 30.3 MH which i was very happy with after getting 18MH on sgminer

V2 miner has made the margin even wider and gives 37MH!!

This algo is great and your miner is really efficient. Thanks for your work.
Have sent a little poly your way.

Please be careful with the Intensity. With that, you can KILL the GPU in the worst case, if you also put up the TDP. In addition, the card consumes much more power without any appreciable increase in the MH / s

thanks mate, I'm using 0.1 at the moment, will see how it goes.

    0.5 was only a example sorry ! :D

    @Fotherly

I also play with an intensity of 21 and 22. Do not do it! I have a RIG with extensions and an Extantioncard (4PCIE X1 to 1PCIE X1) both with additional power connection and CCminer crashes in random times!

Stay with -i 20 and everything will run smoothly

@fotherly said in [**#|[HowTO]|#** CCminer POOL&ALGO SWITCH >>~|DownTime Protection|~< Thanks for your work, If nicehash hadn't just lost all my btc I would send you a small donation.

    1080ti = 36mhs @80%tdp/150+core/0+mem
    960 2gb = 8.6mhs @100%TDP/150+core/0+mem
    1050 2gb = 7.1mhs @100%TDP/140+core/0+mem

    much better than ccminer 2.2.3

    update
Have a play with you intensity settings guys, im getting slightly more with 22 but the power fluctuations are greater so I would suggest not going over 80%TDP if using intensity of 22 and blower style coolers on your cards.

I will be sticking with intensity of 20 for stability and lower temperatures.

supernova has the usual missing a few mhs. I will give some feedback on pools shortly, I'm mining on both suprnova and yiimp.

any suggestions on manual diff setting as it changes quite often resulting in a lower hash rate

    • Jap you can give Suprnova and YiiMP a Fix_Diff

    • 1. Edit your Run.bat

        -o **Pool 1 suprnova** -u **YourUserName.Worker** -p d=0.5
